This auction is for all three vintage Disston hand saws shown. Two of the saws have pretty good etchings and are easily distinguishable one is D-8 and the other is D-23.. the older wreath saw handle is also marked 8 but doesn't show any etching and measures 26" compared to the other D-8.. which is 24" .
All the saws appear to have good teeth and won't need immediate sharpening, the wreath handled older d8 is a nice handle with very few chips or nicks and is very collectible conditi...on but this is the saw with no etching on the blade. The other d8 may have had the horns cut or sanded off slightly.
The D-23 is in very nice collectible and cosmetic condition with good horns and good shape the wood is in good shape and the metal is in good shape ...very straight blade, as do all three saws have relatively good straight blades, thank you
