This is an outstanding antique wooden Arts and Craft Tea Caddie or with brass accents and is made of oak. This wooden box in is good condition. It does have some issues which include an age crack on the front, a missing handle on the top and the top left corner has a small chip in the wood which I have shown in the pictures. Despite these issues it does not detract from the piece. This is a very seldom seen box which has nice brasses and a key hole. It was meant to lock to prevent taki...ng what was stored inside. The key is long gone. This is one of the finest well made boxes that I have seen. This has great crossover appeal and would be an excellent addition to any collection.Items are offered andsold AS-IS.
