This listing is for a beautiful vintage Chinese satin robe with a bird and floral motif. It measures 54 inches or 137 cm long from the top of the collar to the bottom hem line at the back. It is 26 inches or 66 cm wide from armpit to armpit. The satin is a light gold color and is embroidered with flowering trees, birds, and flowers. The collar, shoulders and cuffs have an embroidered scrolling linear pattern. The embroidery work is intricate with excellent attention to detail through...out. There are 5 satin hooks and buttons along the front, and two pockets on the sides.The condition is as follows; there is some spot staining on the front and some pulls to the thread along the pockets.
