Here For Auction is a Beautiful Vintage London Import Hallmarked Silver Open Face Swiss Pocket Watch. Dated 1930.
This lovely solid sterling silver Swiss pocket watch No 1982 2446 has a London import Hallmark "P" (1930) 0.925 silver, the case is in very good condition no dents or scratches just very little nice even pocket wear, the hinges and catches are good so both back and front open and close perfectly.The original glass is good. The lovely porcelain dial is very go...od with no chips, stains or hairlines, It has blued spear and whip hands, black Arabic numerals with outer minute track and a sub seconds dial at 6- o'clock, The watch measures 49 mm across x 14 mm deep.
The Makers Mark is-- G.S. For -- George Stockwell , Importer of High Class Silverware. of -- London and Birmingham.It has a clean 1/2 plate 15 jewel Swiss going barrel crown wind and set movement with Swiss lever escapement, it is running very well and keeping good time.
