A VINTAGE "STILESTER" BLUE STILTON CHEESE, JOHN BARKER & Co Ltd, KENSINGTON W, LONDON, STONE JAR with ORIGINAL LID from the early 1920s to 30s period. The jar measures just over 12cm high including the lid by 10cm in diameter across the top. It is in GOOD FAIR CONDITION being clean with no cracks or hairlines, there is no residue left inside either. There are two chips on the inner flange that have been restored one of which has not been painted, they cannot be seen when the lid is... in position. There is a manufacturers flaw on the edge of the lid flange and another on the base both as pictured.
