South Bend Pocket Watch!!
Up for auction is a South Bend 16 size 17 jewel adjusted model 212 pocket watch out of an estate for restoration.
The lever-set movement is marked: South Bend Watch Co. Ind. U.S.A. 212 17 Jewels Adjusted Double Roller 639256. Dates to 1910.
The movement is not currently running, the balance staff is broken. The watch does not wind, but sets properly.
The double-sunk dial is marked: South Bend. The dial is in fair condition, showing some h...airlines in the finish.
The case is in fair condition with some areas of wear-through on the finish. The crystal is missing.
Inside the case back is marked: S.W.C.Co. 1702353. Inside the dust cover is marked: STAR Warranted 20 Years 1702353.
This has been sitting in an estate for many years, and the service history is unknown. See pictures for condition! Sold AS IS for restoration.
