Please look at all 12 photos. Hopefully, they will speak for the description and condition. This is a recent estate purchase. And, unfortunately, I was unable to get any history on it. Even though the serial number imprinted or embossed on it has worn, it looks to be 141678. According to the serial number it dates back to 1920-1924. But, please look at all photos and please be your own judge. It's an old, smaller Chelsea Clock. The smallest one I've come across. The total diameter, mea...suring the outer dimensions, is approximately 4 inches. It's more unusual than most Chelsea Clocks I've come across which have been far and few between. I do not know anything about it. The knob at the 6 pulls out and turns the dials to set the time. I do not see a place for a key. I'm not sure if it was wired in or what. For possibly a small ship or boat. The fine print on the face has CHELSEA CLOCK CO. BOSTON, U.S.A. I am selling as I purchased. I haven't taken time to clean. The scale shows it weighing close to 1 1/2 pounds. Heavy for size. I do not know anything about the working order. OR, how to get it to work. The clear glass over the face/dial still looks to be intact. Maybe someone can tell more about it by looking at the photos. Low starting bid. No Reserve. Thanks for your interest and looking :)
