WONDERFUL WORK IN AN ECONOMICAL PIECE!
What an adorable armadillo! This little guy was hand carved and hand painted by Roberta Angeles, who is the sister to master carver Jacobo Angeles. Talent truly runs in this family! It has been a true pleasure to get to know Roberta Angeles. She takes great pride in her work, and crafts many delightful and whimsical animal figures. We are consi...stently drawn to her high quality craftsmanship, and her use of cheerful floral patterns. She can often be found presenting her work at the Autry Museum in Los Angeles and the National Museum of Mexican Art. The tail is removable for safe shipping, and the armadillo has been signed by the artist.
