You are looking at what I believe to be an older crucifix as shown. It came from a prestigiuos local estate and I don't have reason to doubt that it has age based on the items it came with as well as the overall appearance. Maybe I am a fool, feel free to tell me so, and perhaps it just looks old, I really can't say with definite certainty. It is about 5 inches tall and pretty heavy. The patina is fairly even, particularly on the edges and back, but they seem mo...re bronze perhaps than the decorative pieces on the face which are more brass or copper. Overall a nice piece and it should make someone very happy to receive. Please see the pictures and condition statement for more details.
