This men's ultra thin, open face, gold pocket watch is believed to be from the 1930's due to its slim 1/4" profile and the engraving on the back "BILLY" FROM TWO PALS, a term broadly used in that era.The rolled gold "guaranteed 10 years" Orient 1 3/4"case, excluding cushion crown and oval bow, serial # 8548116, surrounds an aged parchment dial with gothic black hour and minute hands, black outer chapter, and subsecond dial at 6 o'clock. There are no other marki...ngs on the watch other than service markings coded and impossible to decipher. The crystal is clear, and the manual wind movement sets and winds smoothly, and keeps excellent time.This very rare timepiece will be a centerpiece of some lucky gentleman's vintage watch collection!!
