Thebackground is hand painted -- you cansee the blue sky, green trees and white puffy clouds.Theclay figures feature a cowboy on horseback.Thereis a piece of glass covering the diorama so it stays clean. The glass isadhered to the nutshell ...using white tape. The artist painted the back side of theshell and the very bottom has a shine on it.Thepiece is micro sized. The outside dimensions of the walnut are 1-3/4 inches x1-1/2 inches. It measures about ¾ inch in diameter.Thepiece is in excellent condition.Becausethis is a handmade piece of art using craft type materials, one could expect tofind imperfections and flaws.
