An original 1st press of E.O.M.S. on the UK Rolling Stones label from 1972. Matrix A2/B1/C1/D1 - about as early as its possible to go. Etchings "Rolling Stone Records" & the Artisan symbol on all four sides. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original Shorewood box designed cover. Also included are both stiff card square-cornered inner sleeves. We will transport the Lps in two generic white inners, from the time too, to make sure they transport in optimum condition. Sorry, no p...ostcards with this one, but preservation levels are so good you won't be missing them!
Vinyl (Ex+/Ex+/Ex+/Ex+) In beautiful condition and has only seen very light use. Under close inspection all I can make out are a couple of light marks per side..i.e. much cleaner than what usually surfaces. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ across all four sides without reservation. A beautiful rendition par excellence - and boy do these early copies deliver delicious audio. If you are just looking for the cleanest and clearest copy to be your top copy...then this is the one to go for! Even in those super low-key sections I'm detecting practically no interference at all. It's as clean as a whistle. I'll do the usual catch-all...you may detect a few crackles in a couple of isolated moments. A sonic masterpiece from the Stones and there ain't no better way to take it in than from an original well preserved copy like this...
Cover (Ex-) In lovely condition and has clearly been looked after down the years. Back and front are exhibiting a bit of light ageing, but there's no sign of marks, creasing, or surface wear. The interior looks excellent with no noticeable issues. Edge wear is light for this title and the text on the spine edge is all still fully legible. Overall the box design seems to have retained its structure. An impressive looking example.
Inners (Ex) Superb...no splits or issues.
