Up for auction is a FINE c1920 ART DECO MAPPIN & WEBB 8 DAY OVERSIZED POCKET WATCH DESK TABLE CLOCK. Fine quality Mappin & Webb 8-day travelling table or desk clock. With nice leather case that combines at stand.
Condition: The cases clasp will not lock closed presently and is in need of some adjustment. Some wear to back side of gilt watch case. The watch itself winds and runs perfectly with a finely hand-painted porcelain enamel dial that is also in excellent condition as seen.
Size: The leather tooled case measures 4 1/4 inches square, by 1 1/4 inches think when closes, and 4 1/4 inches tall when displaying the clock. The watch itself is a nice over-sized example measuring 2 1/2 inches wide.
