This is an unusual toy from the early 1960s. It was made in Japan by S.Y. Toys Ltd which is thought to have later become Yoneye Toy Co. The Peace Corps was established in 1961 and the Trade Mark was thought to have been used until 1964; thus this toy was likely made between those times .It is approx 7 inches tall and is in great shape. The mechanism works and the figure appears to be walking around while the head bobs and the bell sounds. It could use a little oil to promote smooth ope...ration. Apparently there was a "briefcase" but when I acquired it about 20 years ago it didn't have one. I have had it in my collection since then.
