Offered in this sale is a vintage if not antique carved wood - perhaps Black Forest - bust of a man with pointed ears wearing a plumed hat and ruffled collar. There is not too much I can tell you about this piece regarding precisely when or where it was made, however, it does appear... to be quite old. The carving is very well done. It measures roughly 4 1/2" tall x 4" wide x 3 1/2" deep. There is a piece of old wire wrapped around the neck which was likely placed there by a previous owner to be able to hang the piece for display. The condition is good however I do note that there is a very old professional restoration to a break in the collar on the right side which you can see if you look closely at the 2nd and 8th images.
