This lovely antique blue salt glaze butter crock is set apart by the presence of the handle and lid and the charming cherry design on both sides of the word "Butter".
Please look at photos as part of description. There are a few flaws on the lid. The crock itself is in remarkable shape! Unlike so many of this age, the original handle is present!

There is also a flaw/chip on the side of the lid that has an odd brown pottery spot. The crock itself is in great shape. No chips or cracks. The inside is so clean it looks unused! The glaze is quite bright and shiny. It is clean and stored in my smoke free home.Maker: Unknown; no pottery marks.
