Signed Suyon HAND-CRAFTED CERAMIC BELL BOTTLE Chulucanas, Peru, Pottery 1529This striking hand-bell-shaped bottle was hand-crafted in the workshop Alejandro Suyon (Sullon) in Chulucanas, a town on the north coast of Peru world-renowned for this craft style. The hallmark of Chulucanas pottery is the black, which is not painted, but rather is the result of smoking in a kiln filled with mango leaves.
