THE BEATLES - With The Beatles LP 1st UK Pressing STEREO Jobete & Gotta Errors
Item History & Price
This copy is a rare second variant which still contains the early desirable Jobete publishing credit error for Money AND the “Gotta” instead of “Got A” error on the Side 2 label while corre...ctly saying Dominion instead of Domion.
This copy was pressed in mid-1964 according to Bruce Spizer’s exhaustingly comprehensive book “The Beatles on Parlophone Records”. No Sold In UK text...Parlophone rim text...KT tax stamp on Side 1.
Even rarer is the medium sized Stereo font sleeve with the correct “Got A” on the rear track list! Much more common are the large font Stereo sleeves with the Gotta misprint or the later small Stereo font sleeves. The condition is very decent- see below for details and study the photos- feel free to send me a message if you have any questions.
Parlophone PCS 3045YEX 110-2 Mother/Stamper: 2ARYEX 111-2 Mother/Stamper: 2RT
Sleeve: VG+Light creasing here and there. One noticeable very common laminate crease on the front. No writing or major blemishes. Rear is a bit grubby along the edge but overall quite clean.
Disc: VG to VG+Side 1 has several annoying looking but nonsounding light marks towards the end. Superficial, nothing feelable. Side 2 is a solid VG+...light hairlines and scratches only. These deep grooved thick vinyl pressings sound even better than they look.
Labels: VG+Early rare and highly desirable labels contain the “Jobete” publishing credit error for Money and “Gotta” instead of “Got A” error for You Really Got A Hold On Me. There is some light wear and spotting on the labels but no unwanted writing or major marks. Spindle wear is present.
Original polylined Emitex inner sleeve is included with no seam splits and overall great shape.

Grading System:
SS (Still Sealed)Unopened records, still in original shrink wrap. In original manufactured condition unless otherwise noted (i.e. evidence of mildew or bent corners, etc.)
M (Mint)The record and sleeve are in perfect, original condition. The record may have been played but will have no evidence of deterioration. (I will only use this grade on SEALED records that appear to be Mint as I believe any non-new, opened record cannot be truly called MINT.
NM (Near Mint)A nearly perfect record. Any visible defects are of the type that "disappear" when the record is tilted under a strong light and they should not affect play. Sleeves in near mint condition will have no obvious signs of wear. Practically imperceptible ring wear may be allowed but no creases, seam-splits, or other easily detected flaws will be present.
EX (Excellent)A very clean record. Near mint except for slight, superficial signs of wear. Sleeves in this condition may have marginal defects, but will not have significant creases or splits.
VG+ (Very Good Plus)A well-cared-for record that is noticeably less than perfect, but defects are not visually or audibly distracting. Record surfaces may have slight scuffs or light scratches, but are still primarily clean. Sleeves may have some creases or minor ring wear, but should not be split.
VG (Very Good)A used, reasonable copy to play. Many of the defects found in a VG+ copy will be more pronounced in VG condition. Surface noise may be evident and sleeves may look worn, but the record is still a decent copy.
G (Good)A well-worn record that is still playable. Good does not necessarily mean "bad" but a record in this condition will have audible distractions and may have visible groove wear. Sleeves may have all manner of defects, but are still intact.
FA (Fair) and P (Poor)These grades are for beat-up records. I will only sell records in these grades if they are extremely rare and sought-after.
