Up for your consideration is this early 1900s cast iron devil still bank from A.C. Williams. I see these come to auction every once and awhile. A lot of the ones I see are repainted or rusted badly. This is in excellent condition with original black and red paint. The inside, from what I can see looks pretty dirty. I'm not going to open it. I'll leave that up to the buyer. As I was wrapping the piece with bubble wrap I heard a clink inside. I shook it upside down a few times and 2 coins came out. Both were buffalo nickels. I'm intrigued by what could be inside, but I still don't want to take it apart. I do not want to even slightly damage the slot screw that holds it together. The winning bidder has the decision of me opening the bank and emptying all the coins out or leave it undisturbed. I'm adding this information because I've no idea how it'll affect the value.
