Up for auction is a Vntg Japanese Twisted Wire & Paper w/ Japanese Characters Garden Candle Lantern. I bought this recently at an estate sale in Seattle WA. I don't have any information about this hand made intricately twisted wire and paper lantern or how old it is. There is no makers mark. I'm presuming that the characters on the paper is Japanese. The lantern can be slid up about an inch to make replacing the candle easier. It weighs .39 lb., is 3 1/2" tall, 4" diameter. Th...e bottom round wooden block is 3/4" thick with a nail in the center to hold a candle.
