Vintage Omega Seamaster watch with sub-seconds dial 34mm including crown. Condition is Used. Dispatched free post with Royal Mail 1st Class.
This is a lovely vintage Omega wristwatch. Keeping very good time (around +/- 30s per day). 20 winds of the crown will last about 28 hours or thereabout.
Movement, case and bracelet are original as is the dial (but I think that the matt white dial has been repainted some time in the past (as the horizontal lines on the sub seconds dial are ...ever so slightly off the horizontal.
The lugs are 18mm and are fitted with good spring bars, but you will need slightly thinner diameter spring bars to fit the bracelet (which is in excellent condition complete with extra links. The watch has recently been services and is running superbly.
I'm not sure of its age, but from the movement I would say mid 50's to early 60's. I'm sure that a letter of extract from Omega quoting the serial number would clarify this.
The movement is signed and complete with serial number, the crown is signed and the hyppocampus sign is embossed superbly together with "Seamaster" on the caseback. This caseback is screwdown.
