Charming estate find: Pair of Antique French(?) Miniature Portrait Paintings of Two Ladies. Beautiful, ornate detail both in frames and in portraits. One is dressed in mid to late 18th Century clothing and hairstyle, the other in an early 19th Century style.
Matching frames with embossed metal surrounds holding portraits under glass. No scratches to the glass. Expected age showing to wood veneer and bone (or perhaps celluloid?) frames, as well as to aged paper backing with Fre...nch text. Pictures can either be hung by wire more recently secured to back, or simply stand them up.
