Awesome 605 1/2 that is absolutely gorgeous! This is a large jack plane and is commonly used for shooting (chute) boards. As it stands, this one happens to be in nearly perfect condition and will take thin or thick shavings without any problem or chatter. Out of all of my positive e-bay feedback, I recently had a transaction with ‘that guy’. You know, the one who has no clue how to fit a chisel handle and is on eBay to simply buy tools cheap for resale and then jack up the prices w...hile being very dishonest. With that being said, here is the DISCLAIMER, FINE PRINT, whatever you want to call it....., If you expect to find a flawless tool from 100 years ago, please look elsewhere and DO NOT buy anything from my collection. If you do not know how to make VERY basic adjustments, in other words, USE the tool.......again, DO NOT buy any of the tools I’m selling from my collection. For example **cough, cough** If you don’t know how to fit a wooden handle into an antique Stanley 750 socket chisel, don’t buy it! That’s like buying a Harley-Davidson when you’ve never ridden a motorcycle. Seems dumb, right? I’m here to tell you, those people exist! It is MY responsibility to provide you with all of the information I can possibly think of. It is YOUR responsibility to ask any questions you’re unclear about and carefully look at the photos. If you need more photos, it’s NO PROBLEM! I can take & send them whenever I get home from work. I’m selling a portion of my collection that I simply don’t have room for in my new shop. I’m not a tool dealer, I am a woodworker. Albeit, a woodworker with a ridiculous collection that has grown out of control. So, check out my other auctions. I’ll continue listing tools in my free time or as I liberate them from various shelves and cabinets in my shop. I will combine shipping. Just give me a heads up and request an invoice if you buy multiple items. I tend to go towards the higher end of estimated shipping. If it’s any lower than what you paid, I WILL refund the difference. I don’t want to make a penny on shipping because that’s not fair to anyone except USPS.
Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. Probably not as quickly as Amazon, but I’ll have it shipped out quickly.
