Original Description:
 This porcelain tea cup, saucer and plate was produced in England by Brown, Westhead & Moore in the 1860s or 1870s.  The marking with the lion and unicorn signifies they were named potteries to the Royal Majesty.  The plate has a diameter of 6 ¾ inches, the saucer is 6 inches and the cup is 2 ¼ inches high without the handle.  The set is decorated with transfer designs that are painted over by hand.  There is elaborate hand gilding.  The cup has a pe...destal base and split branch handle. CONDITION:  The cup has very minor crazing where the handle meets the body of the cup.  There are no other defects.
