This is a pair of French empire patinated bronze candlestick lamps. They are in the form of classical columns with tripod paw feet. They were made in the second quarter of the 19th century. The casting is very well done and the condition of the lamps is good with wear commensurate with age. The lamps are functional.The bronze portion of the lamps is 15 1/2 inches tall. To the top of the shade support is 24 inches. Since the cost of shipping lampshades may exceed the value of the lampsh...ades, the auction is for the lamps without the shades.
