Antique 19th Century Faux Tortoiseshell Tea Caddy Needs Restoration Repair. This is a gorgeous piece with what appears to be silver inlay between every piece of paneling and great finish work details. It has damage to hinged area of lid as well as one missing foot and some cracking on feet that are present. Its hard to let this piece go but it needs to be in the hands of someone with the expertise to repair it correctly and bring forth its truest beauty. It is engraved on the lid with ..."G. Edwards" and the lock appears to read "1843' please let me know if there are any questions
