A VINTAGE BELLAMY & WAKEFIELD, CHEMISTS, BIRMINGHAM, CHERRY TOOTHPASTE POTLID & BASE from the c1900s that has been found buried in a domestic rubbish tip a few months ago. Note the strongly printed crystal clear transfer. The pot lid measures 7.5cm in diameter by 4.5cm high when on the base pot. The lid is in GOOD FAIR CONDITION being clean with no cracks or hairlines, there is a flake on the flange edge at 3 o'clock and a flake /chip on the inner edge of th...e flange underneath as pictured above. The base pot is clean and in EXCELLENT CONDITION with no chips or cracks it fits the lid perfectly. A fairly simple restoration for someone perhaps? I am quite happy to combine purchases for buyers to help save money on postage or shipping costs.
