Antique Ironstone Flow Blue Staffordshire Platter Elsmore Forster Ceres Wheat

This auction is for a Lovely Antique Flow Blue Ironstone Platter made in the mid 1800s by Elsmore Forster of Staffordshire England in the company’s Striking Ceres or Wheat pattern.
The pattern features two colors of blue – a sky blue and a cobalt flow blue – on the edging and coloring the wheat.
The platter is heavy and thick ironstone and measures 16 ¼ inches long and 12 7/8 inches wide.
It Displays Nicely. There are no chips or cracks. There are utensil marks/wear on ...the face, two edge imperfections from the firing process (last photo) and some minor glaze loss in spots (photo 10).
The platter has an impressed Elsmore Forster Tunstall mark.
I am selling many other Staffordshire items and platters and will combine shipping whenever possible.Check out my other items!
I charge actual shipping and will send this either by USPS Priority Mail or by FedEx Ground, whichever is less expensive. If shipping works out to be less than you pay, I will reimburse the difference.
