I've tried to find one of these and I did not have any luck. I was told from the estate I purchased it from that it is an authorized MAC Bulldog Bank. It's made of a ceramic, porcelain or pottery ? material. I was told it's from the 1950's and is a rare piece. Even though I do NOT see any major defects, and I'm NOT seeing any chips, nicks or cracks, there ARE places that have crazing (from age I assume). From my understanding, the old lock on its collar originally came with it. It secu...res the head to the rest of the body. But, I do not have a key to get it open. I am sure it can be easily picked. When packaging for safe shipment, I will package with lots of protection, bubble wrap and secure the head so it won't move. There are places where the lighting, flash from the camera are reflecting off the surface material. But, hopefully the photos will speak for the description. Pictures taken of all sides/angles, including top and bottom. Really CUTE! It has the 'Mack' on its collar. In my opinion, displays great. And, a rare piece. It measures approximately 9 inches tallest part. Front to back, approximately 7 1/2 inches. And approximately 5 3/4 inches across the bottom feet.
