Up for auction is an antique late 18th early 19th century solid brass star decorated footed trivet recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia PA area.  It is found in good used condition. ~9x4.5x1.5". Polished extensively on one side with polish stains along crevices noted on the back.  Stands on 3 good feet.  Hearthware trivets such as these could have been left in the fire to retain heat.  Unsigned unmarked.
