Leather Douay Rheims Holy Bible Pre Vatican II Catholic 1944 + St Joseph Missal
This auction includes both a Pre Vatican II Douay Rhiems Holy Bible and a St Joseph Daily Missal. Details are:
Pre Vatican II Douay Rheims Holy Bible: Published in 1944 by The Douay Bible House. The bible's cow hide cover has surface wear but is otherwise very solid. The spine is tight with no loose, missing, or damaged pages. The family pages are marked as shown in the photos. No margin no...tes in the main text. Still displays nicely and very usable.
Pre Vatican II St. Joesph Daily Missal: Published in 1952 this missal provides both Latin and English text of The Ordinary Of The Mass. A few of the center pages of the missal are loose and are taped in place. Even with this minor issue the missal in very nice and still usable. No missing pages with a tight spine and four sewn in page markers. Paper boards with a nice plastic cover. Also included is the original lamented Missal bookmark which is dated 1950 along with a card showing approved text for the ordinary mass.
A hard to find vintage traditional Catholic Holy Bible and Daily Missal. A great addition to any religious library. Check my feedback rating - you will be pleased.
