Up for your consideration is a very early and somewhat rare porcelain over steel base toaster by Simplex. This toaster was exceptionally well made and sturdy as compared to models that followed. The doors flip down and are easily removed.
This particular toaster is all intact, The only part missing that I can tell is one of the knobs. The wooden knobs, feet and handle show normal wear and tear.
The screws, nuts and bolts appear to all be original. The po...rcelain base is excellent for the age and use of this toaster, there no cracks, just some very light wear on the edges and a very small chips. The metal frame has no dents, but the finish leaves a bit to be desired. There is considerable loss of shine, some rust and some spots where the underlying base metal shows. The doors are in fairly good condition on the inside and outside. The elements have no visible breaks and I would assume they work but I am selling this toaster untested, for display purposes. There is a cord included with this listing, but I believe it to be a replacement that seems a little light for the application. It is included for display use only or it could be rebuilt with a proper cord and the toaster end plug. Standard appliance cords are readily available if you choose to use this toaster.
