Simply MAGNIFICENT Antique 1800s Black Forest Carving! Anthropomorphic Fox "Hunter" takes a quick rest, thinking he has his Supper "in the bag". The Bunny has other ideas. Amusing piece. I dont see a maker signature, but the QUALITY of the Carving is INCREDIBLE! Size: 11.5" high. Condition: Nice for its age. A few missing bits here and there, like the barrel end of his rifle, and some tree top bits. A few minor age cracks along base. Doesnt affect the integrity of the piece. Please vie...w all pics. Very Rare! Best Black Forest Carving Ive seen in a long time. HIGHLY COLLECTIBLE!!! Wont last long!
