Up for Auction with NO RESERVE is an EXCEPTIONAL ART DECO CHARDER LE VERRE FRANCAIS CAMEO CUT ART GLASS CEILING LAMP This is one of the finest examples of Charles Schneider or Charder Le Verre Francais Cameo Cut Art Glass I have personally seen. The Shade is just opitimizes the Art Deco Period with fabulous Acid Etched designs throughout and rich shades of Yellow, Orange and a mottle brown that looks like Tortoise Shell. The Shade is fully signed and guaranteed authentic. The Lamp portion shown last is designed to mounted tight up against the ceiling and is the original, I found one other example in a shop in France but they did not publish a price. The Shade fits great in the Bronze Fixture, it was just easier to photo out of it.
Condition : The Shade is in amazing condition, no damage or repairs. The Bronze fixture is also very good but missing a few tabs inside, that do not affect it hanging securely.
Measurements : The Lamp is a large and impressive piece of Glass, meant for a large Hallway or foyer, measuring 11-1/4 inches tall by 9-3/4 inches wide base.
