Vintage USN Navy Early Jet Pilot’s White Canvas Flight Helmet Bag Named 1950s ?

This helmet bag appears to be earlier than the green synthetic ones you typically see. It is named to LT Day on both sides, and has the number 53 stenciled on. The bag is made of white canvas with a brass talon zipper on a blue backing. It’s a little bit egg shaped, not perfectly round, and has two nickel-sized holes in the bottom. I haven’t seen one like this before, so if you’ve got an early navy flight helmet maybe you oughta grab it. Probably pretty rare to find, especially l...oose.
