______________You are bidding on a fascinating early or mid-20th century healing ritual statue depicting a seated or crouched female figure holding a bowl. This was crafted by the Luba (Baluba / Kaluba) peoples of Democratic Republic of the Congo.        Statue stands approximately 18" tall | weight is 4 lbs. 13.7 oz | expected minor stress cracks and cosmetic scuffing, lite cracking around top rim of bowl. This ...and the majority of items I will be listing for the rest of this year are from the local estate of a gentleman who curated a massive collection of antiques from around the globe; check back often for amazing finds!
