Rare antique (19th century) French porcelain wall pocket or vase, fan-shaped, scalloped at the top. Entirely and expertly hand painted (no transfer) in the Sevres style, featuring a centerpiece portrait of lovers in a garden setting .. roses, grasses, tr...ees, and statuary around. Trimmed with white and turquoise enamel "jewels". Beautifully detailed ~ notice the dimensional insect. Gilt accents. Offered as is, as found ~ please note the handle is missing at the bottom, as well as other ornamentation; there are other minor flaws. Apx 10" X 9 1/2" and 4 3/4" wide overall.
