2 BEAUTIFUL 9th CENTURY VICTORIAN BEADWORK BEADED BERLIN WOOLWORK SHOE PANELS ... Click images to enlarge Description This is a beautiful pair of small mid 19th century Victorian Berlin woolwork panels with fine beadwork and wool stitched onto a linen canvas, they would have been cut out and used to make slippers/shoes. They date to somewhere around 1850s-70s.
The condition is mostly very good, see photos, there are a few areas of missing stitches on each one but I think they are tiny unfinished areas rather than damage.Each panel measures about 14.75" by 12" or 37.5 cms by 30 cms.
