"Vintage Tankar System Saves" Glass Promotional Train Bank---This all glass bank with metal lid was a promotional give away during the banner years of the Tankar System of refined gas. The Tankar System refined oil from Pennsylvania crude oil into a number of automotive products including motor oil and gasoline. These were transported to in-state and out-of-state company owned service stations. Hence the motto: "Tankard System Saves" which is seen on the side of... the glass bank.
