Here is a vintage Mr. Pitt's Beverages soda bottle that measures about 8 1/2" tall. Its made of clear glass and has white ACL printing and the front and reverse. On the front edge near the base (along with other numbers, etc.) its embossed 5LGW0 which stands for Laurens Glass Works and 1950 as the year of its manufacture. I assume it was made then, although to me it looks more like a late 1950s-early 1960s soda bottle. On the reverse, near the base it read...s: BOTTLED BY ASSOCIATED DISTRIBUTORS, INC. SANFORD, N.C. Online I found no info about this bottler/bottle so I assume it may be rare. The bottle has no chips or cracks and shows little wear for its age. The ACL printing is in nice condition and shows hardly any wear. There is only some very minor casewear scratches and just a couple or so mostly pinhead size and smaller fleabite dings/bruises. The bottle is rather clean and shows very little cloudiness. Any overly bright spots are just glare/reflections from the light. NC buyers must pay 7% NC sales tax unless they have a valid NC antiques or re-seller dealer tax number. If you buy more than one bottle I will do combined shipping (ship everything together in one box to save money). Buyer to pay shipping (USPS Priority Mail s/h for US buyers or USPS First Class Mail International s/h for foreign buyers). Orders paid by PayPal will be shipped asap (usually within 1 to 3 business days).
