WWII WIA 29th Division 115th Infantry Uniform, Dog Tags, & Diary

Outstanding group that belongedto Cpl Herbert Blair who served with the 115thInfantry, 29th Division in WWII. I have not had an opportunity to do more research on this soldier but I'm sure it would reveal that he saw significant action in Europe. Comes with his Ike jacketwith all original insignia including ETO (left), theater made 29thInfantry Division with rare silver border (right), Corporal chevrons, sterling CIB, 3 ribbon bars including ETO ribbon with 2 stars, US ...& Infantry collardiscs, 115th Infantry DIs (screwback), and 3 overseas bars. Corporal Blair was wounded inaction and the uniform had a PH. I removed the ribbon bar in order to complywith eBay policy. His jacket is dated June 9, 1944 and a size 38S. There are nolaundry marks in his jacket.This group includes his 1944 dated dog tags and his diarydated 1944. His diary has basic information such a family names, clothing issueinformation, APO numbers, etc. There is no specific assignment information in the pages due to censor restrictions.Very good condition with average wear.
