Gorgeous antique POLICE Hand Puppet.
European origin. Late 1800's or early 1900's.
Carved wooden head, hands and legs.
Beautifully hand painted with fine hands.Fabric body with back glove for manipulation.Approx. 16'' (40cm) tall. Head approx. 3.5'' (9cm).
Overall wear, paint loss, soiling, stains, tears etc.
Possible repairs. Solid structure. Little musty smell due to storage. A fantastic and rare puppet with lovely patina*!
