Original Description:
Item Description: This old Navajo rug measures 64" by 44" (5'4" by 3'8").  It has a great serrated diamond design with a dark brown border.  It has been woven of handspun tan, variegated grey, cream white, and dark brown.  This rug is in good condition for its age.  It could use a cleaning, there are some light brown spots on one side near one end and just a few more scattered spots throughout the rug.  Two corners have a small amount of unravelling.  Ther...e is some ultraviolet fade at one corner on one side only. There is about 1 1/2" difference in width between the two ends, but this rug is substantial and lays flat.  Overall, this classic Navajo rug would make a great piece for display on the floor or on the wall.  (Both sides of the rug are shown in the photos.)
