What are you bidding on today is a beautifully carved Chinese green and brown jade mountain on a wood stand. The seen is of several houses with a part of stairs leading to a pagoda on top of the mountain. On the bottom is a man in a boat paddling along, also there are 3 flowering trees with I believe are prunus flowers, there is also some Chinese inscription to one side of mountain. The unusual part is the stares through the mountain to the pagoda, great quality of jade carving. ...This piece came to me from an old collection of rare and unusual Chinese art objects.
