Offered for sale is a beautiful old vintage (ca. 1950's-1960's) hand carved wood polychrome temple offerings box (called keropak) from Bali, Indonesia. It is in the form of two winged deities on each side, with a lidded center compartment used to conceal temple offerings/sacred objects. It is in good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use - natural stress cracks, areas of worn paint, and minor chips. The natural weathered surface and minor imperfections add ... character and interest to the piece. The offerings box measures 16" long, 10" high, and 6" in depth.
