Pre-historic Anasazi Deadmans black on red indian pottery bowl. This San Juan redware bowl Circa 780-1080 ad, was broken and reassembled with only 2 small shards at the rim missing. Dimensions are 4" tall by 9 1/4" wide. This type usually found in N Arizona , east of the Colorado river. We purchased this piece and others in a old box at auction. The box had obviously been in a chicken coup as they were wrapped in old newspapers dated early 1940's and literally covered in crap.&nb...sp; We cleaned them off thoroughly so no more chicken feces on them. Some beautiful bowls and we will list them here.
