Massive Paleo blade made from Argillite! Six inches long!!! Artifact was recovered in Eastern Ohio, no additional provenance. Large thin blade was well crafted from Argillite, relic has three minor ancient rubs near top of blade and has a small area on one blade edge that has an ancient ding. Please see pics. Artifact has well defined basal grinding that extends approx 1”5/16 from bottom of base towards the top. Blade measures approx 2”1/16 X 6”, th...e Argillite has an attractive, well preserved patina unlike so many other Argillite artifacts. Outstanding presentation piece! This is a Big one!
