This Navaho Indian rug/saddle blanket measures approximately 31" x 30 1/2" and features a zoned design with bands of rhomboids at the ends. Five of the stripes are woven using the beaded weave technique. Handspun wool with plied Germantown-like decorative corner tassels.
EXCELLENT condition. This weaving has not been cleaned but there are no spots or stains. Both sides are pictured.
Lazy lines. c. 2nd quarter of the 20th Century. 2' 7" X 2' 6 1.../2". This Navajo textile displays beautifully on the floor, the wall, or over furniture. As Navajo weavings go this one is relatively thick and would also make good use as a saddle blanket. It is ready for display in your home, office, or ranch. Best yet it is offered here with NO reserve.
