This is a gorgeous ceremonial Prayer Pipe. Elbow style pipe blank made for the purpose of some one who would like to carve their own pipe. It is genuine Pipestone quarried from the sacred pipestone quarries located at Pipestone National Monument which is near by. This piece is bottom layer pipestone which is “soft” in terms of carve-able stone. Once purchased it is completely up to the buyer to turn into into what ever they choose.It is drilled straight, the hole where the stem sil...l be seeded to the pipe measures 3/8” in diameter. It is a solid piece, no cracks or fissures. This piece appears to be a deep dark solid red through out the entire pipe. Shown in the pictures the stone is also photographed wet to give the buyer an idea of what it will look like after The finishing process.
