You are bidding on a Vintage 1960's Marx Toys William Howard Taft 27th President of the United States Gold Presidential Statue measuring approximately 2 3/4 inches tall. On the front of the pedestal shows the Presidents name and on the back has the rank of presidency and the dates he served. The statues originally came in white hard plastic in the 1950's and in the 1960's came in gold and also came painted. This item has never been played with or abused. Although the st...atue has a hairline mark on the pedestal in EX+ Excellent does not mean MINT but close to it. The whole set that I have has this defect from the factory on the pedestal and some on the statue. All this being said these were Molded in gold and ready to paint which may hide the hairline marks on the statues when painted but it will not hide on the pedestal unless that to is painted.
